L’Associazione Nazionale fra i Centri Informazione Maternità e Nascita “IL MELOGRANO”, è un’associazione senza scopo di lucro, che dal 1981 si occupa di maternità, nascita e prima infanzia.
Rappresenta un punto di riferimento per le donne che desiderano vivere la maternità e il parto da protagoniste, nel rispetto delle proprie scelte, della propria individualità, della propria cultura.
Promuove una cultura della nascita rispettosa dei ritmi fisiologici del parto, dell’intimità, delle emozioni e dei bisogni affettivi della coppia e del bambino, secondo le indicazioni dell’Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità.
Lavora per garantire la continuità dell’assistenza nell’intero periodo dalla gravidanza, al parto, al puerperio, ai primi anni di vita.
Favorisce la socializzazione e la condivisione delle esperienze legate alla maternità.
